STARKVILLE, Miss.—ĸ’s College of Professional and Continuing Studies is empowering the next generation of leaders with its new, fully online Master of Applied Science in Organizational Leadership.

Developed for working professionals, the program blends academic rigor with hands-on leadership development through an exclusive collaboration with Echelon Front, a consultancy founded by U.S. Navy SEAL veterans. This partnership gives MSU graduate students full access to leadership training that is both practical and transformative.

“The organizational challenges of today demand leaders who are confident, agile and grounded in principle,” said CPCS Associate Dean Sean Owen. “Through our collaboration with Echelon Front, we’ve created a graduate experience that equips students to lead with clarity and resilience across industries.”

Students engage in courses that explore organizational culture, strategic communication, emotional intelligence and crisis leadership. Scenario-based learning and digital collaboration tools prepare graduates to lead teams in dynamic and remote environments with purpose and cohesion.

The program aligns with workforce trends, including a growing demand for leadership roles in project management, nonprofit administration, military service and sports leadership.

With multiple start dates and mini-terms available throughout the year, students can complete the 30-credit-hour program at their own pace while balancing professional and personal responsibilities.

“At ĸ, we prepare students to lead with impact,” Owen said. “Graduates of this program gain not only the tools to succeed but the confidence to shape the future of their organizations.”
